Most Credem users fund a regulated exchange using SEPA bonifico, with beneficiario and causale entered precisely. Get started in minutes.
Yes. Credem does not sell spot Bitcoin inside Credem Mobile Banking, but you can fund a crypto exchange using SEPA bonifico or bonifico istantaneo from the Credem app or internet banking. Bonifico istantaneo is designed for real time euro transfers when the destination supports SEPA Instant. For fewer bank side questions, check the provider on the OAM register.
Credem can apply profile based limits and additional checks for first time beneficiaries, so the safest step is to review the limits shown during the bonifico flow in app. If you are moving size, run a small test bonifico first, then scale once the beneficiary is proven.
Yes. Credem uses strong customer authentication for payments and you can see additional confirmation steps when you add a new beneficiary or send an instant transfer. If you recently changed device or re installed the app, expect stricter prompts until the profile is re established. This applies to any new beneficiary IBAN, including exchanges.
Use the exact beneficiary data provided by the exchange deposit screen, including the legal entity name. Many exchanges show a beneficiary name that does not match the brand name and mismatches can trigger warnings or returns. Save the beneficiary after the first successful transfer so you are not retyping it every time.
Instant is the speed option when the exchange supports SEPA Instant. Standard SEPA usually lands on the next working day, so timing depends on cut offs and bank days. For urgent buys, instant is usually the better choice when available.
Bank transfer is usually safer for reliability because it is a named SEPA payment with clear beneficiary information. Card purchases can be declined based on issuer risk rules and the merchant setup used by the platform. If you want fewer failures, use bonifico and buy inside the exchange.
