Australia's New Payments Platform for instant transfers.
Transfer speed: Instant
Available in: AU
Australian exchanges that accept PayID bank deposits often receive them through NPP and can show up as Osko on your bank receipt. CoinSpot supports Osko deposits, and other AU-facing exchanges commonly support PayID as the fast rail.
When the exchange supports it properly, Osko and NPP deposits are close to instant, often arriving in minutes. If you are depositing for the first time, you can still get held up by bank confirmation prompts or recipient risk checks.
Limits usually come from your bank's PayID or fast payments limits and the exchange deposit caps. If you hit a ceiling, raising your bank limit and then paying straight away can trigger extra checks at some banks.
Incorrect PayID details, sending from an account with a different legal name than your exchange profile, and bank scam prompts you cannot clear inside the app. If a payment is rejected, a small test deposit after updating limits is often the fastest diagnostic.
Osko and PayID are best for speed and low friction. BPAY is slower and better for planned deposits, while cards are instant but carry higher fees and higher failure rates.
